Junior Final…
On Saturday evening, our Junior’s took to the pitch in the League Final against St Pats. In what was a physical and fast paced game, both teams traded scores regularly and finished the first half level (Tubber 0-06 / Pats 1-04). The second half tested crossbars and posts with regularity as both teams had glorious opportunities to snatch victory. Unfortunately for Tubbercurry, we ended up on the wrong side of a 1-11 to 0-13 defeat. Huge thanks to the players and coaches for their efforts to date. Squad on duty was as follows: Rhys Henry, Darren Matthews, Adam O’Donnell, Mark Brennan, Jimmy McDonagh, Gerard Perry, Eoin O’Donnell, Mickey McDonagh, Oisin McCann, Fionn Lucey, Jack Flatley, James King, Ben Henry, Ronan Forkan, Matthew Mulhern, Mossie Killoran, Darwyn De Bank, Colin Brennan, Fergal McDonagh, Brendan Devane, Gavin Gilmartin, Oisin O’Donnell, Dylan Henry, Eoin Coleman, Stephen Matthews, TJ O Hara, Aaron Perry. Joint Managers Brian Henry & Paul Severs.
In order results our Seniors lost out narrowly to Calry in the Senior league on Sunday. Final score – Calry 1-12 Tubbercurry 2-08.
