Pitch Development
Phase 1 of the new pitch is nearing completion with official handover from contractors expected in the coming weeks. Phase 1 involved the laying and seeding of a new all weather full size pitch. Phase 2 which includes the installation of match ready floodlights is also nearing completion, final electrical connections are in progress and the erection of lights will take place in the coming weeks. Special thanks to Sean McDonagh for the great work he has been doing in co-ordinating all this activity.
So far the club have invested heavily in this new infrastructure and we will need to continue to fundraise in order to maintain the great progress being made in developing Kilcoyne Park into a facility that the entire community of Tubbercurry can gain benefit from and be proud of. Many thanks to all our sponsors and local authorities who have supported us on this journey.
These notes have been brought to you in association with our main sponsor Surlis’s Supervalu!
